Design Process

 So working on this drill gauge i learnt a few things one of the things i learnt was how to use a vernier caliper.This shows that I learn something completely new that i have been wanting to know for ages. I am wondering how the first person made the vernier caliper. I can use this learning when I grow up because I want to be a tool maker.

The power of one

The film power of one directed by John .G. Auildsen is a movie about racism and poverty.
All of the film aspects are used skillfully all throughout the film. These are some of the film techniques
that are used skillfully.

The film aspect makeup is used to show how serious the scene is when pk is getting
beaten up by botha. When he is getting beaten up by botha Pk’s nose is bleeding and so is his eyebrow.
It shows that he is getting beaten up pretty bad. The shot mid shot is to make you feel like you are in the
person's shoes.

The film aspect mid-shot is used to show how it would feel to be there. When Pk was boxing he keeps
looking at Maria so it made you feel like you were looking at her yourself. It makes you feel like you are
in Pk’s shoes. Costume is something to show where or what the person is doing.

In this scene you see that pk is wearing a costume. The costume is used to show where
Pk is in this scene. The costume is a school outfit this shows that he is at school learning and talking
to the class. Wide shot is made to show more of the scene.

In this wide shot you see Pk and a few Africans. This shot shows that Pk has taught a lady
english and that she is showing the kids how to pronounce an english word unalienable which is a
pretty hard word to say and that he can teach a lady that word in a short amount of time.

                                               Today we have been introduced to lathes. 

A lathe is a tool that has many purposes including, cutting, sanding, facing, drilling and sanding.

Cutters or cutting tools, carbide tipped tools, lathe turning tools, lathe parting off tools and drill bits these are just a few of the tool that is used on a lathe.

Safety

• Wear appropriate safety glasses...
• Ensure entanglement hazards are removed (e.g. loose clothing, jewellery, etc.).
• Keep the floor free from obstructions, or slip hazards.
• Ensure that lathe has a start/stop button within easy reach of the operator.

How has writting changed over time?

Hieroglyphics is an Egyptian way for communicating with each other. They created symbols to designate a letter and draw/paint them in a vertical way. In modern days we use letters as a way of interacting by writing letters horizontally across a piece of paper. This is how humankind communicates with each other without having to draw pictures and write them the way the Egyptians did. Down below I have written my name using the hieroglyphics.

The main point of this essay was to show and explain how John .G. Auildsen used these film aspects. I think that this movie made me feel differnt about apartheid or human rights. So I highly recomend watching this movie

Boat wood work

This is a blog for my wood work. we have been working on a boat. at the start it was difficult marking out but I got the hang of it. I ended up getting ahead so I made another one in a period. Ifinished early so I oiled if again to get more of the grain.

(s) Iqbal lost his human right of freedom. (E) Freedom means that people can make there own choices about where they can live and what they want to do. (E) Igbal was locked insde a carpet factory, and sometimes he was sent to the tomb. (L) This is how Igbal lost his human rights of freedom.

(S) Igbal lost his human right to eduction.(E) Education means the right to go to school and learn important things.(E) Igbal was sent to a factory at a young age and didn't get taught anything except tiering carpet. (L) This is how Igbal lost his right to education.

(S) Igbal also lost the right to having freinds and family. (E) The human right freinds and family means that they aren't aloud to have freinds and family. (E) At a very young age Igbal was taken away from his freinds and family to pay off his family debt. (L) this is how Igbal lost his right off freinds and family.

"I didn't mean to kill her"

I was walkin g down the ally way and I screaming so I ran to the end and there was a guy abusing a lady so I walked up to see what the problem.i asked what was wrong and the guy screamed at me "I didn't mean to kill her" so I passed him back and told the lady to go. I asked him who he killed he said "he killed his x girl friend" . I took him to the police office and told him to tell the police officer his story.

 He ended up serving 12 years in a pysco prison

Fish caught every year

I think that fishermen should pay for every fish they catch.

You should have to pay for how much it weighs. Of you don't pay you should have pay
a fine. It is bad to catch fish because they keep our oceans clean and taking them out
of it will cost us money. It is the same as the hunting law. There are 2700 Billion fish
caught every year and if we made it so you had to pay that number would drop
dramatically.
