Lathes
Today we have been introduced to lathes.
A lathe is a tool that has many purposes including, cutting, sanding, facing, drilling and sanding.

Cutters or cutting tools, carbide tipped tools, lathe turning tools, lathe parting off tools and drill bits these are just a few of the tool that is used on a lathe.
Safety
- Wear appropriate safety glasses...
- Ensure entanglement hazards are removed (e.g. loose clothing, jewellery, etc.).
- Keep the floor free from obstructions, or slip hazards.
- Ensure that lathe has a start/stop button within easy reach of the operator.
